Domain redemption fees add an automated charge to renew expired domains during the domain grace period and redemption period. If you offer domain registrations, we recommend configuring these fees.

You can configure domain redemption fees on a per-extension (per-TLD) basis.

For more information about grace and redemption periods, see Domain Grace and Redemption Periods.

Configuring Domain Redemption Fees

To configure these:

1. Go to Configuration > System Settings > Domain Pricing.

2. Click the gear icon for the desired TLD.

3. Under Grace Period, enter the number of days for the grace period and the desired fee in your default currency. By default, most TLDs include a grace period with a $0.00 fee.

The system automatically converts the fee amount to any other configured currencies using the set exchange rate.

4. Under Redemption Period, enter the number of days for the grace period and the desired fee in your default currency

5. Click Save Changes.
